One of the strong authentic qualities developed in your builds, are the iconic silhouettes of the buildings against the harsh bright of the desert.
To compliment those silhouettes try smoothing out your walls to being a little simpler. This will help viewers identify each of the individual buildings and the specific qualities each building might posses. For example, a bank should portray more prestige than a simple dwelling. A general store has to be defended, but also needs to appear open and accessible to customers. A saloon bar absolutely has to be surrounded by verandas. Essential to stage those all too classic gun fight death falls from the balcony in to the water trough below. I'm really looking forward to seeing the development of your new frontier.
