During the golden years of America where money flowed like water, and the wheels of industry propelled buildings to new heights, this building encapsulates the sense of style and elegance in its interior. This was the age of decadence which the music kept on playing.
I designed this building myself and the main challenge was making the interior look truly art deco. I spent many weeks perfecting my final design and here it is.I used many sources as my inspiration like the S.S. Normandie, the Chrysler building and the Empire State building.

Backstory
This hotel was built in 1925 in the heart of New York. The hotel catered to all of the rich and famous people that dominated the silver screen. Mae West reportedly stayed at this hotel once.
In 1934 the hotel added the bar after the prohibition had ended.
It was called "The Luxor Building" after the region in upper Egypt called Luxor where many ancient Egyptian palaces and temples were discovered. Also the building itself had a lot of Egyptian features and after the recent discoveries in Egypt like the tomb of Tutankhamun it seemed only natural to call it "The Luxor Building"
