The mighty World Devastator is a class of Imperial superweapon, designed as a factory ship which can sustain itself for an indefinite period of time, physically expand itself by constructing new modules, and create its own fighting forces. Procured by the Imperial Department of Military Research, these behemoth ships serve as descendants of the more primitive 'Imperial Leviathan'.

World Devastators (WDs), also known as World Crushers, City Eaters, and a number of other forboding names, vary in size as they grow. They use extremely powerful tractor beams to literally suck up resources, ranging from raw minerals from a planet's surface to enemy starships, which are then put through a molecular furnace and used to create massive armies of smaller automated war-machines in record time.

The WD is controlled by a central droid brain, which oversees the construction of war machines and add-on modules for the ship itself by utilising its massive on-board factories and refineries. This ship requires a relatively small crew:keel length ratio, as the crew mainly are there for monitoring the movements of the droid brain, as well as the basic naval functions of navigation and gunnery. A medium contingent of security forces, both automated and organic, also man the ship.

The technology present aboard the WDs is very advanced; they draw power from a main reactor which sustains and draws energy from small black holes, navigate mainly using repulsorlift pads, and are equipped with some of the most advanced manufacturing facilities in the galaxy.

This WD is a variant of my own design, drawing influence of course from the normal World Devastators, but due to the Minecraft height limit it is decidedly smaller than it could be.
Normally these ships at a mature stage would be several km in length and many hundreds of metres high and wide, but alas the 256 height limit strikes again. This version measures 488m in length, 239m high, and some 232m wide.

This creation will include a highly detailed interior.
It also is being developed in parallel with the Imperial Resource Pack which will be released at some point in the future when it is more ready. So if any of the blocks look out of place in screenshots it's because they haven't had their textures replaced yet.
