The 'Wreck of the Providence' c.1912
The Providence is based on various sternwheelers that operated on the Mississippi in the 19th and early 20th centuries (although some are still going to this day). I have also taken a lot of inspiration from the 'Wreck of the Serendipity' in the game 'Red Dead Redemption'.
Launched in 1905 in the Port of San Alexandro, the Providence operated on the river for a number of years before disaster struck in 1909. The boat has partially sunk after striking a sand bar in a shallow part of the river and has come to rest in a swampy bayou, considerably out of the way of its usual course.
I built this wreck on the WBC Builds' Creative server, and it featured as a background prop in WBC's recent Halloween video (Check out the video here). Big thanks to WBC Builds for building the swamp itself and including this build in his video.
Also thanks to Mayor Bergdorf (a builder on WBC's server) for allowing me to use his town, San Alexandro, as the port of origin for my river-boat.
Texture Pack and Shaders:
I have used a version of WBC Builds’ new 1.3.2 texture pack with granite and grass textures found in one of WBC’s previous packs. I have also used parts of the 'Vanilla Tweaks' resource pack.
The Shaders used are BSL 1.17.1.
This is a build on the WBC Builds' server and as such I can't provide a download.
DISCLAIMER: As mentioned above, the surrounding swamp was NOT made by myself but by WBC Builds. I built the sternwheeler to place in the swamp as a background 'prop'. All credit for the fantastic terrain goes to WBC.
Update 11/11/2021: Added some Alligators to the surrounding swamp, thanks to Impcurious on discord for the suggestion!

tho, questions, is the server private? Is it invite only? if it is not private, could i join and what is the IP? If its invite only, what are the requirements to join
do you think think you could ask the owner of the server/team if they have any plans to make a world download? (if they havent already made a world download)
tutorial on it? or could you recreate the wreck on a separate world and then release that for download?
It is a whitelisted server, so only select people have access to it. The world file is already too large to make a download available plus it is an ongoing project. I've mentioned the server that this was built on in the description
I don't really see the benefit for me in making a tutorial or youtube videos, they're a time-consuming thing to make (also a lot of this build was made to match the environment so a tutorial probably wouldn't work anyway) and I don't have much time available to build, let alone to record and edit a tutorial. I just like to occasionally upload screenshots of some of the projects I work on; they're my own builds that I've spent a lot of time on so I don't always feel that comfortable giving them out as downloads
