This is the Map Download for the Year of the Craft Season 1 (January). We start at spawn, and take the portal path to Griffins Landing. This world has been played on consistently for 1 month, but not heavily as we are continuing the world for 1 year (See January update).
On January 1st we began the initial work. It was decided that to ensure we could keep the map fresh for future updates, we would stay in the negatives as much as possible. Then, if a new update came, we could generate new chunks in the positives. We began building at spawn, and then Pinto took off to find what would be known as Griffins Landing, roughly -9000 on the X. That became our new home after I finished a nether tunnel in that direction. My first project was the nether portal mountain. Which I still think is about 10% of what I'd like. ToonDude settled in the cove tunnels, Pinto and myself settled in our un-named cave (taking requests), where I built the sphere, and dug a giant hole. Pinto worked on some farms, his small dugout home (which turned out 10/10), and he worked on the tunnels, pathways, and decorations.
In the valley below, MrTigumz and JarJarVader have begun a small homestead, Tigums being a pro his home looks sweet. Vader built her first home next to that, with a large donation of cobble from the storage sphere.
Then, we have Philidelphia. This is a seriously cool build, and DrewPhilly did a great Job. It's got everything necessary for him to live self-sufficient, and boy does it look great. His changes like the large wall and lack of trees take away from it, but it is still 9.999/10.
There are many plans for the future, most of which include small decorations, cleaning up old buildings like spawn, and improving the pathways, villager trading area, and building some boats to make the port look sweet. This is February's problem, however. March is when i'll start the big builds. Hopefully
