Fight Back Zombies in a different take!

Welcome to the Showcase of features and systems that will be presented in future maps in this series!

What does Zombie Survival Have?



-A Functional animated "Mystery Box"
-Modeled "Perk Machines"
-A different take on zombies which focuses a lot on the minecraft part!
-30 Waves of Zombie pacted fun!
-Drop Items like INSTA-KILL and Double Points!


How to Start:

-Place map file into your minecraft saves folder
-Place the custom resource pack in the resource pack folder
-And that's it!
Note: make sure to not use other resource packs while the map resource pack is active it might cause some issues in your playing experience

Credits:

The map which this showcase takes place on is made by the epic builders over at the Greenfield Project!

Make sure to give them a lot a love as this map will only be used in this showcase as future maps in this series will take place on custom maps


What's being planned?

I am currently working on a 12 Episode Series of "Zombie Survival" with part of the story being told on each episode.


If Models and/or Datapack code is used in other projects make sure to credit me!


If you plan on using this on a server make sure its a vanilla server, with command blocks enabled, as this map won't work with paper or spigot, untested for bukkit.
The large file size is due to the map file, which 90% of it isn't used, remember to give props to the Greenfield Project Team

Its a good concept, but it could be better. I ran in a couple of problems. 1, The stone sword doesn't have enough durability. A good way to fix this is to have an unbreakable wood sword instead. 2, The map is too big. A big map would be a cool concept on paper, but its hard going around the entire map per round. I would suggest making multiple levels, but the bigger it is, more players needed. 3, Health is a big problem. Maybe you could make something that heals you slowly. 4, Spawn was kinda weird. The spawn area is fine, but when I opened the world, I was in creative mode on top of a tree. 5, I don't think the box worked. 6, Lower the amount of zombies. Back to the first one; the stone sword cant take care of all the zombies.
  Its still really good. Maybe when you make another one, it should start out slow and weak.

that is the plan I'm working on EP 1 now you can see my wall posts for updates. For this version I might not update as I have grown my datapack knowledge a lot that the code for this is kinda odd to figure out lol. However, I am taking all the criticism from this map to make the new episodes better.

I was trying out this map, and the concept is good, but there are a few bugs that I found.



When dying using one life per round on single player, the round does not end, and the player is stuck in a black room until /function zoms:game_over is ran (the command is along those lines).

Even when the command is run, the zombies persist and the map breaks.

If you could fix this, it would make this map an amazing multiplayer map to play with friends

Thanks for the feedback,

I do want to mention this is a rough layout on how future maps will be made, but I will take a look at the bugs and roll out a fixed version. Might be a while since I'm currently working on another project.
