AcerCraft - Hardcore PvP
AcerCraft is a 24/7 Minecraft server dedicated in bringing our gaming community the best hardcore, survival and factions experience a server can possibly provide. Bombarding our players with fun, intricate and awesome custom plugins, our server fails to disappoint. Being around for more than 1 year, our experience in server hosting has taught us a lot of essential things in order to maintain an awesome, healthy and thriving community in Minecraft.

Plugins:
AcerCraft implements a ton of custom plugins that helps our community in terms of enjoyment and also enforces rules, such as no combat logging, spamming, racism etc. In terms of enjoyment, we implement awesomely fun plugins to play around with such as tokens, auction and magic carpets! Not only this, we also have many other plugins such as spleef and mob arena to ensure our community enjoys playing fun mini-games, not only constant PvP and raiding.

Staff:
One of the essential aspects of a wonderful server to play in is awesome, fair and upright staff to monitor the community. That's why our server has a unique rank called 'Staff-Manager'. This rank monitors the staff regularly, which mean they can also hire new staff members. We have zero tolerance for staff abuse and any such thing will result in an automatic demotion and possible further permanent ban on sight. Donation Ranks:
Our server provides donation ranks starting at a mere $5 all the way to a staggering $300.
These ranks are worth every cent, as they provide unbelievably cool benefits such as a magic carpet, backpacks, exclusive access to the VIP shop and way much more! All these ranks can be purchased at www.acercraft.com/donate and guess what? They're all automatically given to you!

Rules:
In order to ensure a healthy community, these rules must be followed by all users. Failure to follow these rules will result in punishment.

1. Disrespect is allowed
1.1 Disrespect is an act in which a user shows no respect towards another user, in order to prove something. It is allowed due to AcerCraft being a hardcore server, intensifying the relation of friends and rivals.
1.2 One must never disrespect the staff or their decision, otherwise a consequence will be taken upon oneself.
1.3 Always greet new players that have just joined kindly and with respect, disrespect to a new player that just joined will result in a mute (new players have Noob as tag).

2. Lying is allowed
2.1 Lying can be considered a talent in order to achieve something or a blatant act of betrayal if not done correctly. Lying is what humans do to become the best, and is what AcerCraft allows for users, to become the best.
2.1 Lying is not tolerated if done upon staff, if caught, a highly severe consequence will have to be faced to oneself compared to the offense one did, which lying was used to cover up.

3. Glitching is allowed
3.1 Although glitching is a form of exploiting, we have decided to allow this in AcerCraft. Glitching is abusing the flaws of vanilla Minecraft, it requires talent and intelligence in order for one to do so. Allowing glitching will decrease the high amount of 'forum-fights' between users who argue about how their base got raided in an unfair manner. Building a base will require oneself to decide how it cannot fall into the hands of clever and intelligent glitchers and the saying of an impenetrable base cannot be easily used in AcerCraft.
3.2 The use of v-clipping is a hack, not a glitch and will not be accepted.
3.3 The use of 'bugs' in plugins is considered exploiting as it is not the form of abusing the flaws of vanilla Minecraft.

4. Scamming is allowed
4.1 Scamming is a talent into bringing another user into one's trap in order to cheat resources from the user in an unfair manner. Scamming is allowed in AcerCraft because it is hardcore server and you cannot trust anyone. If scamming was not allowed, then the community will not be so hardcore. Scamming comes in various forms, whether it be monetary scamming, item scamming or base scamming and is all allowed.
4.2 Donation scamming, *see below* is not allowed.

5. Swearing is allowed
5.1 Swearing is the use of bad words, it is used by one in order to express their feelings across in a more violating way. Feelings can be depression, sadness, envy, jealousy, etc. Hardcore communities, including AcerCraft, allow swearing because it allows users to weaken their relationship with another user to a higher extent.
5.2 Swearing at staff is seen as staff-disrespect and a severe punishment will be served.
5.3 Excessive swearing is swearing over the limit and will merit a mute or a possible ban if one cannot control themselves.

6. Spawn-killing is allowed
6.1 Camping in the area where a player spawns or is likely to wander in hope of taking their resources or valuables is allowed.

7. Stealing is allowed
7.1 Claiming property which is not rightfully yours, in hope of gaining resources in a form of stealing is allowed. Looting, raiding, salvaging is all under the category of stealing and is allowed.

8. Griefing is allowed
8.1 Damaging, vandalizing and abusing property (bases, houses, monuments, etc) which belongs to another user is allowed. The art of griefing allows users to create rivalry between factions and users. Various methods of griefing provide fun for some users and sadness for the other party, which gives AcerCraft a hardcore tuxedo.

9. Duping is not allowed
9.1 Duping is a form of exploting in which items is multiplied in order to benefit the user's amount of resources. Methods include: Abusing plugin bugs, chest manipulation, item glitching, etc are all not tolerated in AcerCraft.
9.2 Duping is a MAJOR offense and will result in a permanent ban from our community with no warning.
9.3 Sharing duping methods in our game service is also a MAJOR offense and will also result in a perm-ban.
9.4 If one knows to a dupe or someone duping, one has to tell staff members otherwise a consequence will be sentenced to the user.

10. Advertising is not allowed
10.1 Advertising is sharing to the community detail or information about another game service in order to halt the user's gameplay in AcerCraft to boost their popularity for their server.
10.2 Advertising is seen as a MAJOR offense and one will be banned without warning.
10.3 Sharing Youtube accounts, Facebook pages and any form of media is seen as advertising.

11. Spamming is not allowed
11.1 Filling up the community chatbox in the form of unwanted, repeated or unstoppable messages is spamming. In terms of community chatbox (global chat), spamming is inputting unwanted messages in attempt to overwhelm or disrupt the gameplay and fun of a member of our player base.
11.2 Spamming is not tolerated and one will suffer a ban or a mute.

12. Hacking is not allowed
12.1 Hacking is using hacked clients or advantaged programs for the members of our community. X-ray, sprint hacks, full-bright are all under the form of hacking and is never accepted in our community.
12.2 If caught, users will face a regular ban.

13. Exploiting is not allowed
13.1 Exploting via server bugs is not allowed. Exploiting is unfairly gaining resources in an illegitimate way.
13.2 If caught exploiting, or participating in any exploits, one shall be severely punishable.

14. Certain threats to users or server are not allowed
14.1 Threats including DDoSing to our community players or our server will result in an instant ban. The variety of threats range from griefing the server, hacking the server or threatening to causing harm to the server is also an instant ban.
14.2 Threats to users such as hacking them, griefing them, etc are all allowed except DDoSing.

15. Use of mini-maps and/or radars are not allowed
15.1 Installing and using mini-maps or radars allow the user to have an extremely overpowered advantage, such as finding well hidden bases and locating players not directly in front of them for example.

16. False claims of server decisions are not allowed
16.1 Spreading rumours about the server (map resetting, player getting banned, the owner's on drugs, etc.) is not allowed. Very serious act against our server and could lead to a permanent ban.
16.2 Spreading rumours about other players is fine. However, intention to ruin the community's experience by saying the map will reset soon is not tolerated.

17. Racism is not allowed
17.1 Racial comments, jokes, slurs and slang language used will result in a severe punishment. Any intention of being racist will also result in a punishment.
17.2 Calling someone with a racial comment, although untrue, will still result in a punishment.

18. Dredging up old forum posts/threads is not allowed
18.1 'Dredging' refers to responding to old threads that have died and are useless.
18.2 Posting on a thread that has already been dealt with from a few months ago, would be considered dredging.
18.3 It is up to the staff member's discretion on the punishment you shall receive for doing this.

19. Impersonating Staff Members is not allowed
19.1 Impersonating staff is pretending to be a staff member in order to claim self benefit, such as scamming/trolling purposes.
19.2 Impersonating staff members can occur over many variables other than our server, such as Skype.
19.3 The severity on how this crime will result in a likelihood of a permanent ban on our server.
