We aim to have one of the most chilled Minecraft communities. Looking for a server to build on with a partner or friends? Or a quiet place to play on your own but still want to feel like part of a small community? This is the place to go. This server will NOT beg you for money or cause you any hassle with players. If you're the sort of person to need attention from random people constantly, please do not apply. We want players to be able to have a relaxing time without people spamming them for conversation.
This server started off being a completely private experience for 2 people in a relationship, that's why the server is named BaeCraft! Since then, we haven't used the server much and want to open it up to other people. We aim to uphold the wholesome relaxed vibe the server started with. Please please please do not attempt to join if you want to cause any sort of anarchy, I know putting this here will only motivate some but trust us, it will not be worth your time as all your work can be taken back very quickly. It won't even be noticed.
This is mainly vanilla with a few eConomy/balance sprinkes to improve on the default experience. More information on this below. Aiming for a 100% reliable experience that doesn't need admin overwatch. If issues arise, we will have a complete log of every block placed, broken etc so that issues can be quickly resolved. Development of the server will also be slow, the owner is not committed to this 100% of the time to avoid any sort of burnout. However, if any major bugs arise they're fixed very quickly most of the time.
Everything you see is made in survival. No admin powers have been used to make any builds. Any big projects you see have had lots of hard work put in! 🥳
Features:
Hate world resets? So do we. Instead of resetting our world, we will be expanding the border with every major update giving you the pleasure of exploring new areas while still maintaining all your old work. Most servers don't do this to comply with storage limitations, we however have a host that slowly gives us more storage over time so we never run out! Makes no sense to reset worlds when there's room for constant expansion.
Day time is 30 minutes long! That's 3x longer than normal. Night time is still 10 minutes. You may still sleep to speed up night if needed. Creeper block damage and crop trampling is disabled.
NO LAND CLAIMING. Is this meant to be a feature? Yes, we believe land claiming is a fiddly annoying process people shouldn't have to deal with. Way too many servers include it. If the anti-grief systems and the community are good enough, this huge annoyance isn't needed. Our world is also plenty big enough for everyone.
NO PREMIUM FEATURES. We DO NOT have a donation system in place! We might do eventually but it WILL NOT give anyone any unique features aside from maybe a star beside donators names.
ANGEL CHEST. In this server they are named 'Bae Box', this stores your inventory in a chest when you die and gives you 20 minutes to go back and get it! This includes dying in places like lava, the box will appear in an accessible place next to it.
HOMES. You may set up to 3 different homes. After typing in the command to teleport to friends or homes, you must stand still for 10 seconds. This prevents abusing teleports if you're about to die!
TREE ASSIST. Quickly cut down trees and replant them! All you have to do is break one log and it all comes down. No more will you have to climb up into a floating pile of leaves to find one pesky log!
CUSTOM TAGS for your name. Select a fun tag that represents you or your play style to display before your name. No, these won't be too long or clustered. Chat is easy to read. These are all unlocked from the start.
DYNAMIC MAP. Use this to view the world from up high! You don't even have to be in-game. CLICK HERE TO VIEW IT!
DECORATIONS! Well...technically they're heads. Using the command /heads will open up a huge library of small decoration blocks you can use freely on your builds! They don't cost a thing. There's around 30,000 types to choose from so there's something for every occasion.
DISCORD! You'll receive an invite once you've been accepted! There's also a button to join in-game.
More features will be gradually rolled out, we don't want to put in anything that's too difficult to learn or ruins the normal chilled out feel of the server so it's a very careful process.
