Closing Doors....for Prison : by CrazyMango 04/15/2024 4:27:25 pmApr 15th

Due to the co-owner of the Prisons game mode giving up and providing no support whatsoever for more than a year. Prison is shutting down. However, there are already plans to make a COMPLETE overhaul of prisons in the future! So let's say prisons is taking a break instead. At least, with this we can focus on what to improve during planning.

Other News:

+ Gravity(Dropper) is 90% ready to start polishing! So make sure to play test and leave feedback on what can be improved before release at our discord under #feedback.

+ Fully Bedrock-compatible menus! Slowly over time, more game modes will have bedrock menus.

+ The hub menu has been overhauled!

- Skywars is removed!

+ A New Minigame: Dragon Escape has been added!

+ A lot of bug fixes in the SMP including a new optional claim system! Meaning, the SMP is closer to being released and out of beta!

Server votes are different than diamond on Planet Minecraft. They are unique to servers and reset once a month. They provide a means of creating a top list that rewards servers for being popular and maintaining a consistant page on Planet Minecraft. Thank you for sharing your server with the community.

Q. Do I need to be a member of PMC to vote?
A: No but you're welcome to join us.

Q. How often can I vote for my favorite server?
A: Once each day. Yes, it used to be on a 24 hour timer. This is NOT the case anymore. Timer resets at 12:00 AM EST.

Q. How is the score computed for the top list?
A: Score = 1.5 * votes + .033 * days since server posted to PMC. As system evolves so will the algorithm. i.e. Day weight increase and other stats may be factored in.

Q. When is the score reset?
A: Top list score is reset every month.

Q. What happens if a server cheats?
A: Report them to a moderator. We'll look into it and depending on the situation, votes may be reduced, reset, or server page removed.

Q. Can I pay my way to the top?
A: No.
