The Belfry Crusade
At the foot of a river sat a nameless town. Nestled between mountains and an untamed sea of evergreens. Isolated. For centuries it sat alone, deprived of any life; Until now. Surfacing rumors tell of a rare and magical metal, drawing the likes of traders and adventurers, and even outlaws. Some come to make a fortune, some seek to start a new life, and others… come for a more sinister purpose.
Your journey begins as you arrive at the gates of the settlement vaguely dubbed ‘Rivermarch’-- approximately 7,000 miles from the nearest city. All that is known is that it was built by the Hunters in centuries past when an unknown event rocked the mysterious town to its core, leaving many to speculate that the previous residents had either died out or moved on to seek greater prospects...
Throughout the world, the organization known as the Belfry Hunters--a group of monster hunters and peacekeepers-- act in the name of the Church of Belfry, holding considerable power worldwide and even standing as acting government in a handful of nations. Peaceful or not, vampires, creatures, users of Source Magic, and hell-spawn of all sort despise, distrust, and evade the Hunters that target them.
The Belfry Crusade is a roleplay server focused on free-form high fantasy set between renaissance to the mid 16th century era. With little extensive world lore for you to read and memorize, preferring instead to introduce you into our story organically through roleplay. We wish to emphasise player creativity and ensure a pleasant roleplaying experience!

Rules
- Use common sense & respect the community
- We only accept players at the age of 15 or higher, and by playing, you consent to be possibly exposed to things such as violence, swearing, drug use and other graphic content.
- Please act according to your character and try to stick to the setting & time period as best as possible
- Do not destroy builds (or landscapes) without purpose - If you wish to destroy small parts of builds in character, please do minimal damage & leave a sign stating what has been broken.
- No skins that are unfitting.
- No inappropriate builds
- No Metagaming (Use of knowledge gained out of character)
- No Powergaming (Emoting actions on Behalf of another)
- Do not use glitches, cheats, or exploits
- No ERP or sexually explicit roleplaying & must fade to black to skip these events.
- Rape and sexual encounters that include characters under the age of 18 are prohibited.
- Characters must have a limited amount of skills
- Characters must have weaknesses to make up for skills
- Combat must be agreed upon before started- whether it is- basic roleplay, roll-based, or PvP-based combat
