What is CBCraft?


CBCraft is a server with tons of fun in store! Minigames, survival, and a creative world for you to play on!

What's there to do on CBCraft?


There are tons of things to do on the server! In the survival world, you can build a house and survive, gain XP from fighting mobs, or whatever you want! The possibilities are endless. In the creative world, you have access to WorldEdit to help you build a modern skyscraper, modern house, or even a modern hotel. In the creative world, we only allow modern-designed structures. Creative is also whitelisted to people with a MCBans reputation of 9.5 or higher unless you ask a staff member. There are also three spleef arenas and a hotfeet challenge in the minigames world, and we plan on adding at least two Hunger Games arenas in the near future!

Okay, so how do I get money in survival?


Obtaining money is quite easy on CBCraft. Every morning when the sun rises, you get $5 automatically. You can also open up your own small (or large) store, because we have ChestShop. Another easy way to obtain money is selling things to the server. If you have spare Coal, Iron, Gold, or Diamonds, you can go into the store, just outside of spawn, and sell them. This is an extremely fast way to earn money, but the absolute fastest way is the mob bounty program. We've all had our days when we just get tired of our inventories filling up with rotten flesh, bones, string, ender pearls, etc., but now you have an extremely valuable reason to keep them. Just go into the store, the same one outside of spawn, and the mob bounty aisles are the two rightmost ones.

At the top of the description, it says 23/6...What does this mean?


Because I am on an internet connection with a dynamic IP, my IP address changes without my knowledge quite often. When it does, I have to go and manually change play.cbcraft.tk to redirect to the new IP address. This process doesn't take long, but I often don't know my IP has changed until hours after. While the actual server is up 24/7, players will only be able to access it 23/6 (most likely higher than that).

I hate laggy servers. What kind of machine is CBCraft run on?


I host CBCraft from my home gaming rig. Here are the specs:

CPU: Intel i5-3570K @4.2Ghz
RAM: 16GB DDR3
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7990

If you don't know what those specs mean, my computer is very fast and powerful. Any lag that occurs is 99% of the time due to my internet. I am on DSL connection speeds, but it's the highest I can get in my neighbourhood (6Mbps down/up). Most of the time, lag that occurs only lasts a few seconds and goes away. While it is not against the rules, I would prefer you not point out every time you get lag by saying it in the chat.

Can I have a staff rank? Op?


NO. And here's a tip: 99.999999% of server owners who are posting their servers on PMC do not need any staff members, and it will irritate them if you ask. I believe I speak for all servers when I say: DO. NOT. ASK. FOR. OP. This is punishable by a kick. Second: muting for 24 hours on your first offense. Third: ban.
