Kingdoms of Exilus

1. A brand new, sparkling wiki, designed in google sites! It contains pretty much everything you need to know, though there is one or two things that have yet to be added. This one took the most time and effort out of every feature in the new update and I hope you enjoy this new treasure trove of knowledge. The wiki also contains some hints and sneak peaks to future updates, so check it out!
2. An official server currency! Yes that's right, the days of coins will be no more, we now have an official, lore friendly currency. The new currency is called the Exilian Arc and it comes in three different denominations: Gold, Silver and Bronze. Coins will be able to be traded at a merchant at spawn for Gold Arcs and in the future Arcs will be replacing coins permanently. The currency has a custom texture contained in a resource pack made by us. The texture requires optifine, unfortunately we couldn't make it work another way without significant coding. If you don't have opifine, they'll still have the texture of the old coin. (Heart of the Sea)
3. OpenRP – A versatile RP plugin. We've used it to create custom character sheets, many custom chat channels both IC and OOC with varying distances they can be used at and various purposes, dice rolling and we've implemented a custom time and date system. The main thing to note here is that Minecraft days will now be 60 minutes long, rather than the usual 20. This is to keep the in-game day counter somewhat in line with the time elapsed in the server lore. We know this is a controversial change, so if you have any questions or concerns please DM a senior staff member.

4. Official RP Rules and Guidelines – You can find these on the wiki, they are in-depth and cover pretty much everything that needs to be covered. The guidelines include instructions on how to make a character, some races from D&D that can be used, helpful hints and tips on designing you character, a link to the official character sheet (See below for more info on that) and there's even a glossary of RP related terms!
5. Official Server Character Sheet and Channel – An official server character sheet has been created, to create a character you must fill it in and message the link to a senior staff member. More information how the sheet works and detailed instructions can be found on the sheet itself. A channel will be provided where all approved character sheets will be posted for reference.
6. The InCharacter discord bot – This allows you to easily manage multiple characters, create little character profiles for them in discord and it makes it easy to distinguish which character is talking at all times. A tutorial on how to use this bot will be posted to the wiki in the next few days.
7. HorseOverhaul – A plugin that Overhauls horses to make them more viable in play, but also more RP friendly. You can claim ownership of horses, complete with custom deed items to show ownership. Horse breeding now has more generational improvements and you can use certain foods while breeding to influence the foal's stats. You can now name horses with coloured names using Minecraft colour codes, armour is equipped automatically when you right click on a horse and even more features.
8. Instruments – 11 different instruments, they all make different types of sounds and nearly any song can be played on them! Each instrument has a custom texture, too!
9. Custom Music Discs – Custom music discs with both RP and non RP songs painstakingly sourced, edited and tweaked in noteblock studio for the best quality. There's a good selection, see below on how you can obtain them.
10. Bookshelves – Bookshelves now have an inventory when you right click on them, they can only hold books of all types though.
11. Smoking Pipes – Craft two different types of smoking pipes and 5 different types of pipe weed, that you can actually smoke. Some of the pipe weeds even have a special you when you smoke them! The pipes and pipe weed all have custom names and lore.
12. Custom Maps – You'll be able to order custom maps with any pictures on them you desire, as long as they follow the server rules. Many premade maps will be available for purchase, too! See below on how you'll be able to purchase them.
13. Ducat – Ducat will be receiving a little update of his own, you'll be seeing him around again, that's for sure! He'll be selling some of the custom items we mentioned earlier, including custom maps, music discs, instruments and some collectable custom items. His stock will rotate every month, so check it often!
14. Sand NPC – That's right, there's a new NPC on the block. Meet Kassandra Sandford, she has more sand than a person ever needs, will you trade her other materials in exchange for her precious sand?
