Decided to make my public server available to a wider userbase and instead of running a bending plugin decided to run a regular vanilla server using a 1.8.3 jar.

So, yes, this server should be Minecraft version 1.8.3.

The rules here are extremely lax, but...

1. No begging for in-game perks or staff requests.
   
2. Respect the staff members.
   
3. While griefing and raiding are allowed, they are still unethical. Don't be a jerk.
   
4. If you get griefed or raided, do not whine about it. Be prepared next time or move futher away.
   
5. No pixel art, this ruins the survival immersion.
