Project City Build (PCB) has been running since the early days of Minecraft Classic (circa 2010). With our free-build Creative and Survival multiplayer maps, we offer a fun platform & building experience like no other.

I've spent a little over eight years on Project City Build now and it is by far the most welcoming, wholesome, and enjoyable community I have ever joined. Anyone regardless of geographical location, build skill, or background is welcome. I met all of the people I call my best friends on PCB.

If you are looking for a creative server where you can be yourself, there is no place I would recommend more.

Started playing this server just under a week ago. The community is extremely active and deeply cares about the server. They have a variety of worlds from citys, medieval fantasy to pixelart, Enough to satisfy even the pickiest builders.
Worledit is available for trusted members but the staff are so active that you can always ask for their help.
I've been playing Minecraft for 10 years and this is honestly one of the most wholesome welcoming communities I have been a part of.

I'm very proud to've been part of this community for nine years now. It's the only server I've ever cared to stick around with. The community is excellent and full of talented builders and the server environment is unlike any other Creative server I've visited. I'm looking forward to celebrating a historic tenth anniversary next month.

Two things. First off, why post this on PMC if you're just going to have players to register anyway? Put it on whitelist. Second off, the rules are a LINK which is a double no-no. This is just my opinion, but rules should only be links to be more specific on rules already established from /rules. Not putting them in there seems lazy and it's very inconvenient for people with poor connection. I see too many servers like that nowadays.

Hi Galactic, we do allow players to browse all of our worlds and play in our survival world without registering. We require all players who wish to build in Creative to register as part of our grief prevention process.

Our rules are comprehensive and it would be difficult to include them entirely within Minecraft. It is more practical for us to have these listed in a searchable and navigable format on our website.

We're sorry that you didn't have a great experience, but the issues you raised do seem like personal preference and they certainly don't cause any issues for the bulk of our visitors.

We hope you can reconsider your feedback.

Okay, so for the survival world, that was not made apparent in any way. As for grief protection...you believe it's more efficient to have players register...rather than get a grief prevention plugin? I mean, whatever floats your boat I guess. The more comprehensive the rules and the more difficult they are "to include them entirely within Minecraft" is a pretty self-explanatory reason to maybe rethink the format of the rules...the only reason anyone would/should need to link a website of rules is to explain the rules already defined with the /rules command, as I've said above. Forcing people to connect to a website rather than use the resources the server already provides for you is extremely inefficient. Probably won't be joining after my first visit. Take care though.
