If the server was to continue, I would like to build many things from Lord of the Rings (a good challenge).

OK everypony, we knew the day was coming eventually. I'll admit though, it is with a heavy heart that I type this. I'm closing SheepCraft. Maybe for ever, maybe until my exams are over. We'll see. There are lots of reasons for this. They include my exams, the lack of popularity of the server, the difficulty or cost associated with running a server, and the toll it takes on me. Running a server popular with griefers was not pleasant for me, even if I had a ball when building cool stuff and interacting with some of the great fans we had/have. I'd like to thank you all for the great feedback and support I got while trying to build the ultimate building server. Thanks in particular to all our loyal staff, who patrolled the place when I could not. You guys kept it going. Really though, we've been doomed since creative came out. Before, SheepCraft was the ultimate builder's playground. Fly, spawn blocks, have flat ground to build on, don't die etc, but now you can have all that in creative mode without the need for restrictions and admins breathing down your neck. My system, for all the good it did, is obsolete. I won't even go into detail about all the equal or superior servers out there.
