Welcome to SleepySheep!

Welcome to SleepySheep, a casual survival-based server!
We hope to do our best to maintain a mature server where
anyone can feel safe and welcome, and where we can all
enjoy Minecraft together as a community. We have no
requirements to join, and no white-list. All we ask is that
you follow our rules and let us know where we can improve.

Server Rules

1. Notice of Liability
- By continuing to play on SleepySheep, you acknowledge and accept our rules.
- We will do our best to hold players accountable for their actions.
- While we allow anyone to join, this is a mature server and we will do our best to remind those who seem to forget.
- Have fun with us on SleepySheep!

2. Respect Others
- Be nice and courteous to your fellow players.
- Listen to what the staff members ask of you.
- Please do not troll those that you don't know.
- If a player bothers you, use /ignore to ignore them.
- You may report players with the /helpop command.

3. Chat Etiquette
- Keep the chat civil.
- Please do not spam the chat.
- Try to keep the chat in English.
- Do not advertise external content (servers, media, and so on).
- Please do not talk about politics or sensitive subjects.
- Do not post specific or personally identifying information (for your own safety).
- Please try not to swear excessively.

4. Gameplay Etiquette
- Do not grief the world with random structures and towers.
- Try to cut down whole trees instead of leaving them floating.
- Do not steal from or grief other players.
- Do not intentionally rapidly generate chunks.
- Do not intentionally harm server performance.
- Do not abuse exploits or use any sort of hacks.
- Do not X-Ray.

5. Other Rules
- Do not ask to be given items or powers.
- Let staff know if you find a bug or something unintended!
- Do not ask to be a staff member (fill out our application located in the rules in-game).
- Check back to the server rules from time-to-time to view changes.
- Staff members may only use their powers to monitor players.
- Staff members must otherwise play as normal.
- Report players in violation via the /helpop command.

Relevant Plugins

While we have many plugins to help the back-end monitoring and such,
these are some plugins that are relevant to the average player. We try to
keep the experience as seamless as possible as to not overwhelm you.

• Advanced Achievements
Unlock hidden achievements while you play, and fight for bragging rights on the leader board!

• Essentials
Gain access to the convenient commands of /sethome, /tpahere and so on.

• RandomTeleport
Gain the ability to randomly teleport within the survival overworld (on cool-down).

• Grief Prevention
Use a golden shovel to claim your land and deter griefers from touching your stuff!

While we won't name them here, we have other plugins to help us in the
detection and prevention of cheaters and X-RAY users.
