The server is being hosted in our garage which was opened to my kids friends in 2013 when we setup our first Minecraft server. The garage was built into a LAN Center for my kids and their friends to spend the weekends gaming of which we have done a lot of amazing things. Keeping the kids out of a lot of trouble, the garage has been around to teach many kids how to build PC's, build custom PC's that have won awards and been published in CPU Magazine. Being apart of charity fundraisers, taking trips to bigger LAN Parties of 100-500 people in and around Sacramento, CA, going to the Maker: Faire, streaming on twitch.tv/tekrp, being affiliated with some significant parties and affiliated with Razer. The garage has turned into something significant that has changed lives, made some successful and gave hope to others.
One thing remained consistent from 2013 until this day, we have always kept a Minecraft server online. Our Minecraft server started off as a world opened to the LAN from one PC, which turned into a dedicated server running on an intel i5-4500 series CPU. The kids wanted the server to be playable at home and so their friends could join from their homes without coming to the garage. Getting a static ip for the Minecraft server and solving issues brought up by the players, I have decided to go back to school for Network Administration and build a great Minecraft server. Our simple i5 Minecraft server is now being hosted on a dual Intel Xeon Gold 6144 hypervisor that has 510GB of memory available and 7.2TB of SSD's. What was once a server to keep the kids busy, became a tool to learn about server hardware, networking, administration, coding and more.
Please enjoy our server! The same url can be used to join our Bedrock server that is running along side of our Java server. We take a lot of pride in our server and enjoy it greatly which you should as well. Perhaps in the future, we can increase bandwidth and get more player slots to open up.
Trolls, Griefers, Racism, Cheaters, Negativity and anything else bad, will not be tolerated and eventually met with a ban.
A few Datapacks are being used in our Java server like coordinates, gravestones, health bars, phantom riders and we encourage the use of client side mods like Voxel's map. Mods like X-Ray vision are considered cheating and will result in a ban. The map is 50k x 50k, the spawn radius the same and randomized.
Enjoy the world, enjoy the server, unless we lose power or Comcast Business cuts our bandwidth, the Minecraft Servers will be online!

Since Amplified didn't work out to well with the 2nd part of Cliffs and Caves, we have reverted back to a Vanilla Survival server and loaded a few datapacks to make things nicer in the server. Our 1.18 Amplified server is still running at mc.tekrp.com:25566 if you want to check that out.
