So for this contest I had an idea. I figured that most of the heroes I would see in this contest were going to be very western like. Superman, Batman, Spiderman and the like. So I had a crazy idea, I would go east. I went with a design of a japanese super hero.

STAR GALACTIC HEROES: PURPLE NEBULA
His design is supposed to be very similar to those of Power Rangers or Kamen Rider. When I was growing up, I watched shows like that all the time, I think a great amount of us did. It's always been apart of me, the way they acted and gave out good morals. The special effects and just plain over acting. As adults it may seem funny and childish, but when we were children these shows really gave you an idea of what a super hero should be.
So when it comes down to it something like Power Rangers can be a very powerful medium, and really defines the "Super" in "Super Hero".
Purple Nebula is part of a 5 member team of hand picked agents of safety. They are the protectors of the combined nations of Earth. They are the first line of defense from the evils of space, especially the Zunturian King, Tsunami. He wishes to consume Earth and make it a part of his kingdom. However the SGH fend him off every day. Purple Nebula is actually the son to the current Representative President of Japan. His real name is Hideaki Watanabe, and too his father his is a sheltered distant child. He secretly protects the world behind his father's back and is the second in command of the entire force. He is the strategist of the team, preparing all the operations the team has to preform. He is also the pilot of the Purple Starfighter Yami, which forms the right arm of the SGH Mecha.
With all their might these heroes protect the planet Earth and with it the furture generations!
