"Victor Saltzpyre is one of the five playable Heroes in Vermintide 2. In official media, he is usually seen as a Witch Hunter with a tall hat wielding a rapier and a brace of pistols.

Witch Hunters are gruff at the best of times, and Victor is so dedicated to the fight against Chaos and Evil for personal reasons that even his peers tend to feel he is unlikable and even dangerous. Unlike other Witch Hunters, Victor has no objections to working with other races. To him, the end justifies the means, and he is ultimately willing to fight alongside anyone as long as they are not outright enemies of Sigmar and the Empire.

Victor has a strong obsession with the Skaven that has led to friction with his superiors in the Order, and affected his ultimate career path. Additionally, his lack of objections towards working with other races separated him even further from his fellow members.

Based on which career the player chooses in-game, he is seen as a Witch Hunter Captain, promoted due to his meritorious actions in Ubersreik, a Bounty Hunter who has cut his ties in all but name to the Order, or a Zealot of Sigmar who has abandoned the Order in favor of a righteous attempt to cleanse the world."
