An artificial being sent to far off under-developed worlds to seek out new sources for the empire, Once resources found a full excavation ship will be send to mine the planet.
Some reasoning I tried to come up with, I guess I'm better at the artwork then the stories. LOL But it could be used to explain why it's found on the MInecraft world and not a more advanced planet. :P
