That said, fair-haired Achilles can't showcase his noodle hair with a helmet.
Achilles is a central character in the Iliad, a Homeric poem detailing the supposed Trojan War that occurred within the 12th-13th century BC during the Mycenaean period.
Popular depictions of Achilles tend to depict him with hoplite-esque armour (the famous breastplate and corinthian helmet), which emerged in the 8th century BC as hoplites became popular. Mycenaean armour, however, looked a lot more primitive from what examples have been uncovered i.e. the Dendra panoply.
As I'm sure you've noticed, I chose the popular hoplite stylings (because Mycenaean armour simply ain't as cool).
