Aerie is an enigmatic spirit that walks the garden in search of decay...
It is said that while it is visiting you, your plants will never die.
Not much is known about it, other than the fact that it can restore life to plants and animals using the small faeries in its chest.
It wears the skull of an unknown creature, or perhaps it has an exoskeleton, and its upper torso is made out of wood.
Its lower body seems to be that of a hairy beast, possibly indicative of its origins.
The spirit doesn't seem to be benevolent, however, as it has been seen wreaking havoc on the environment on occasion.
When it does so, black energy surrounds it and it grows taller and slimmer.
Legend tells of a queen who extended many gifts to the spirit.
The spirit accepted them, until the queen revealed her true motives.
She asked the spirit to revive her diseased husband in exchange for the offerings, and the spirit declined by devouring her, and destroying her castle.
