Feeling she was born to the wrong time period, Alice was a frequent to the local club, Retro Eddie's.  A quaint little joint, Eddie's was the perfect hanging spot for young Alice and her friends Adelaide and Constance, who would dress up in their mother's old clothes and dance the night away.

One dreaded evening, while Alice and her friends were dancing away, a scientist by the name of Fat Arnold was busy in his lab working on an experiment.  Nobody can say quite for sure what went down in the lab on that fateful day, but one thing is for sure, the world would never be the same.  Everybody new something was wrong when Fat Arnold burst through the door at Eddie's, bleeding at the mouth, his eyes as white as the color white.  He ran about, pushing people over and yelling random words. However with with the loud music and loads of people dancing, Alice never heard the frantic shouts of her friend Constance, warning her to move, as Fat Arnold was heading right for her.

Arnold bit down hard on Alice's arm, ripping her shirt and leaving a small dot of blood where the teeth had met her flesh.  Alice turned quickly, smashing down her bottle of beer on Arnold's head.  At this point more people had noticed, and many had started to leave, however some stayed, and pulled out their smartphones to record the events, breaking the 6th rule at Retro Eddie's; Don't use phones with screens.

At this point, Arnold was laying unconscious on the ground, Alice and her friends looked down at him, he seemed greener than usual.  Alice then turned to look at her arm, from which the bleeding had now left a small stain on her sleeve, she knew her mother would be upset, but she told her friends it was nothing and that they should keep dancing.  Constance, the Uptight squib that she was, wouldn't have it though, she rushed over to the corded phone on the wall, and dialed 911.

When the cops arrived there weren't many people left at Eddie's beside Alice, her friends, the owner, and a few late night stragglers.  During the questioning however, Alice began to feel faint, she looked at the cop who was currently playing the role of bad cop, swore at him, and fell of her chair.  As the cop leaned down to check her vitals, Alice jerked her head up, showing her bright white eyes, and bit off two of the fingers of the cop, who fell backwards, stumbled a bit, and ran out the door.

Alice was now running towards Adelaide, before Adelaide could do anything she was tackled to the floor.  Adelaide reached for the broken beer bottle on the floor next to her.  She turned Alice over and thrust the broken bottle into Alice's side, then jumped off her and ran back behind Constance.

This still did not stop Alice, however who got up like nothing had happened, and ran at the group who was huddled in the back corner.  The good cop stepped in front of the group and fired off a shot at Alice.  The bullet tore through Alice's knee, which sent her flying through the air in an awkward stumbling fall, she landed at the feet of the good cop and promptly bit him on his bare-skinned, freshly shaven ankle.  While good cop was screaming in pain, the group behind him had left through the back door.

The rest they say, is history. The zombie apocalypse had started at Retro Eddie's. Of course, over the next few years zombies would evolve to have a normal eye color and a grayer skin tone, but for now, the story comes to a close..

Some say they still see Alice crawling around the streets looking for her friends to this day.
