Hey everyone! For this skin contest I thought I would stick as close to my usual skins as much as I could- and so I thought, why not make a skin of Amaterasu? The Japanese Goddess of, not only The Sun, but the Universe!

Why in this contest?

'Amateru' is translated as 'shining heaven' from Japanese, so I thought that it would make sense to enter her in ATC as heaven's full of clouds... right? xD 

Culture

People who practice the Shinto faith hold a ceremony for Amaterasu every 20 years, at the Ise Shrine.

The Story

When Amaterasu was handed a holy necklace from Izangi she was announced 'ruler of the sky'.  Later, when she fled from her brother, Susano, to hide in a cave, Japan was thrown into darkness. Eventually the gods once again sought out Amaterasu, and tricked her to come from her cave using her own reflection.

She has another sibling, Tsukiyomi, who is the deity that rules over the night sky.

NOTE: Amaterasu is 1.8 compatible, but she won't have hair or fire in 1.7 :3 (If people ask I will include a version without the fire? Not sure if people would like it ^^? :o)
