39th Place
Didn't get to my goal of top 20, but I am happy to have participated. Congrats to the winners, and thanks to all those that supported me and helped me get to the finals.

Arktijaa (Guardian of the North)

Arktijaa is one of the last two remaining of his kind, known by many cultures as the frost giants. They once thrived throughout the world during the Ice Age, but it all changed as the earth started to get warmer and the ice that encased it was starting to melt away. The giants started to become hostile towards each other as the temperature started to rise.

During the "Great Melt" the giants fought among one another, claiming the lands that remained frozen as their own, but the habitable lands were dwindling along with the frost giants. Great battles were fought which scarred the lands and formed the world as we see it today.

By the end of the "Great Melt" only two giants remained. To the south, Antaktijaa and to the north Arktijaa. The two remain isolated in their frozen lands and will defend their home from any who dares to take it from them.

Overall concept and layout is great, there just are a few things that don't look that good. For example, his beard doesn't stand out enough, I would have made it much brighter to bring contrast between the blue and the grey, as it is right now, it kinda blends together. I love the icy look, but another thing that kinda bothers me is his belt, that stands out too much, it doesn't really fit into the skin. Awesome animation, what a shame that we can't really let it count into the rating ;)

Thanks a lot for the feedback, it's nice to get real honest feedback I really appreciate it. Now I know what I can improve on. And I see what you mean by the belt, it was a spontaneous addition something I tend to do quite a bit. I'll have to work on planning things out before I work on a new skin.

Its a good thing the animation doesn't count to the score, it would be really unfair to those that don't have experience with it. Maybe in the future there will be a PMC animation contest ;)
