I have to admit I kind of rushed my previous entry (which might be obvious considering it's rather simple design and heavy emphasis on the colours).
For this skin I tried to emulate some sort of rim lighting, but the purples and reds clashed too much with the blues. Instead I opted for a overgrown/rotten look for the left side and I think it works much better than the red.
