My entry in the Twisted Reality Skin Contest.
Back story
In Ye Olde Town of Kingsin, lived a blacksmith, named Palta. He was a glory known amongst all men and women and children alike. None could go through this town without hearing his accomplishments. He was modest, but he stuck to a lively hero nick-name: "Palta the Presentable". But all his fame was to come to an end, as not everyone believed that Palta should live in their village, that he was too boasting of his work, making weapons and tools. So, an assassin called Fenniss killed Palta in his sleep, and looted all of his swords, axes, daggers, and hammers. All, except for one. A less wide than usual hammer with orange moss in it's cracks. This was Palta's original weapon fighting in the war. But when Fenniss boasted about his murder to other assassin's, they also took harshly to his presence, and had him killed. Not only did they destroy the village of Kingsin, they let off several explosive barrels of slime, that mutated anything that wasn't destroyed. The mossy hammer, very strudy, with even more cracks, attracted the slime. The mutations were simple, yet all the more disturbing. The hammer grew a beard.
