The Turaga of Mata Nui's wisdom knows no limits, and neither did Toa Tahu's tenacity; washed ashore upon a golden beach with no memory or purpose - but instead a fervent hunger for justice. With the Turaga's knowledge imparted upon him, Toa Tahu led his fellow Toa Mata into many a fateful encounters with the Makuta and his pawns, hunting the dark leader's trail for generations even toward the core of the very universe.

How someone so bone-headed would turn out to be one of the most selfless and brave heroes across this sector of the known multiverse is beyond me, but hey, I'm not the one writing these stories. [laughs]

This is my own interpretation of Toa Tahu's Mata appearance. Of course, he does not look like this originally, though I gave him my own personal flair. Perhaps I will design something that appears much closer to his original appearance soon, if I have not already.
