Character Backstory: Brynjar was born in a small village in "Svithjod". His father was weaponsmith for the Earl and taught everything he could to Brynjar. From a young age whenever he and his father had time , after work in the forge, he would train Brynjar how to fight in one on one combat. Once Brynjar was 13 every winter when food was scarce he and his father would go out into the woods and hunt wild boar. By the time Brynjar was 16 his father let him build his own hunting lodge in the summer and then use it for extended hunting trips in winter. The summer he built the lodge he had gained exceptional amount of strength from the heavy lifting of the logs. Brynjar became well rounded in the basics of melee combat and weapon smithing. By the time Brynjar was 18 he began sailing with his village's raiding party that was controlled by the Earl. The constant rowing day after day built his chest and shoulders. He was taught how to steer and sail the longboat. While at sea he also learned how to fish out the monsters of the deep with a fishing rod. When they landed at a village, they raided it and while raiding it he learned how to fight in a shield wall and also how to fight in single combat using either sword and shield or a two handed axe. Although he was already pretty good from his father's training. So by the time Brynjar turned 21 he was ready to go see the world for himself instead of listening to where the Earl wanted him to go. And he used the money he got from raiding and his father's inheritance to sail away to Solaris to make a name for himself.
