The year is 1984.

Amid all the things going on, the year 1984 holds a special place in the hearts of many as a particular franchise of Shape shifting robots who turn from metal gladiators to earth vehicles began with the premiere of More than meets the eye Part 1, the first episode of The Transformers. What many remember (or wish they were around for) was the ensuing toyline. While not known for their accuracy to the cartoon, these toys became an integral part of 80s culture and still continues to this day with more than a few transformations. However, one character from this first episode of The Transformers stood out a bit more than the rest (maybe it was the bright yellow), a little yellow Volkswagen Beetle named Bumblebee.

About the Skin
This skin is based on the toy of Bumblebee released in 1984, rather than the cartoon character who has some notable differences. I decided to go with the toy format for a few reasons. One, it ties into the Retro theme by being, well, first of all, from the 80s, and also he stands for everything retro: he's flashy, unique, and downright unforgettable. I used multiple galleries from all over the internet to make sure that I got all the details spot-on exact to the little toy from the 80's. Also, I did an Optimus Prime skin also based off of his G1 toy, and it was very successful, so i thought this would go good with it, maybe make it a series I update every now and then.
