Sure! What is it specifically you want to know? I'm flattered you'd ask me. All I have to say is don't use shaders or shader tools. If you really want the colors to pop, you can use a "Hue shift". Like if you want to shade green, to all a little shine use a little yellow into the green. Then, darken it a little with some blue. So know what colors work as hue shift, think of what colors go to make the color; like to make green, you use yellow and blue. For purple, red and purple. Orange, yellow and red. For colors like blue that are what are called "Primary-colors" that are stand-alone, like blue red and yellow. Use colors that just go with it to shade. Also, if you want to be popular you need your own shading style; like with mine, I use boxy shading. Lots of popular skinners use a similar style. I suggest you look around Planet Minecraft and see some styles for inspiration. Also, for a good skin you need a good concept; maybe use a reference picture.
