Ced is one of my favourite child characters in the Jugdral storyline, mostly because of the combined story he gets between FE4 and FE5 if you pair Lewyn with Erinys. Him and Fee trying to get in touch with the father they haven't seen for so long only for him to coldly dismiss them rather than explain why he left was so sad, especially in light of the real reason Lewyn never tries to reconnect with them.

People love to say that Ced's super good, and sure he's very good in FE5 but in FE4 the AI is so weird that you can't use him to enemy phase tank or the enemies will just ignore him because he's too strong, which really hurt his usefulness. He was basically a boss killer unit which isn't much of a niche in a game like FE4 with holy weapons. In hindsight Arthur is probably the better Forseti user but I didn't want to miss out on Ced's story so I didn't make that pairing. Maybe on a second playthrough.
