!SPOILERS FOR CSM VOL. 5, 6!

Sad fact: Reze did infact like Denji (probably).
For reference:

• CHPT. 47 (luck with women) Reze mentions how she really did like Denji.

• CHPT. 52 Reze said she doesn't like Denji in the previous chapter, contradicting her claims from CHPT. 47.
But! In this chapter, she actually did what Denji told her to do in CHPT. 51, which was: Denji told her he'd be waiting in the café, and if she didn't show up, it meant she didn't really like him. But she did. She tried to go the café when that goddamned Makima showed up and killed her before she could enter.

Not only that, in their first encounter, if she really only saw Denji as a target, she would have killed him 100%. But he managed to charm her.

She even apologised for trying to take Denji's heart in CHPT. 44 (BOOM BOOM BOOM).

(She did say she preferred the country mouse though, so that might not just be her feelings for him lol.)
