After being prompted by Boomer, I made my own version of everyone's favorite Minecraft Hero, Steve! This skin was made using the exact palette of the original char.png. All I did with it was use the color selector, pen, and brush-stroke tools. It took about 20 minutes total.

Could somebody please clear this up for me. I thought you weren't allowed to do reskins of things. I read the guidelines and I remember seeing that.

Ok... I just did a shaded steve with 64x64 ans 2nd layer, it was reported and ban.. 
can someone tell me, whats the difference between this one and my was?
Why is this allowed and mine is forbidden.
I just want to understand it... 
The rules say's don't use original textures... isn't this the same?

Ha ha no. It's named that intentionally, because that's the name of the skin. I've made over 200 renditions of other video game characters and thought it might be fun to do a re-make of the char.png file as well.
