I think not, the 3d layers does supply a lot of good things, however, it looks odd imo when you only have one part 3d and it's such a tiny part.

If I were you, I would've made the claws on the armor layer as well as some other things to balance it out.

Well, I rearranged the palette in the description, the real one looked like this.

Although, I do agree it was interesting, it's certainly different fron what I usually work with (:
