Allow me to present my contest skin... Yamucha, the desert bandit!
We first see Yamucha in the very first episodes of the Dragon Ball series/first few chapters of the Dragon Ball manga. He has made a living as a bandit in the desert with his friend Puar for the last 2 years. Bulma, Goku, and Oolong are ambushed by him as they are attempting to cross the desert themselves, in search of the Dragon Balls. Bulma wants to use the Dragon Balls to be able to find the perfect mate. As Yamucha attacks, Goku is defeated due to being hungry and low on energy. However upon seeing Bulma, Yamucha retreats, but not before learning about the Dragon Balls.
You see, Yamucha has an extreme fear of women, as is showcased in hilarious fashion in the later episodes/chapters, typical of the Gag manga that Dragon Ball started out to be. Yamucha later deduces that he can use the Dragon Balls to overcome his fear of women. As fate would have it, after a series of events between these two groups, Bulma and Yamucha would end up being together for a while in a relationship, without even needing to use the Dragon Balls.
Later in there series we see Yamucha using his survival skills as he, Bulma, Puar, and Oolong attempt to traverse the desert again, while Goku goes off in search of his 4-star Dragon Ball that he considered his late adoptive grandpa Gohan's momento. (As a site note, yes, Goku did name his son after his adoptive Grandfather, so we do indeed have two people named Gohan in the series...)
Yes, there's no outer hair... I'm working on that later.
