This is my entry to the Norse Mythology Skin Contest. It is a Draugr.
Draugr are sadly greatly underdone in most games they're in. In God Of War 4 the Draugr were basically just mindless beasts made of paper and orange glue. In Elder Scrolls V Skyrim they were nothing more than Zombies, with no real special traits. But in real Norse Mythology Draugr were very interesting creatures. They were the dead bodies of people who were generally hated during their life that have been brought back. Draugr mostly roamed about in graves, protecting riches from careless grave robbers. Draugr also had magical abilities. In Skyrim that attribute was slightly touched on but didn't include any of the Draugr's actual powers, it was mostly just stuff made to fit the story of Skyrim. The Draugr's abilities included shapeshifting, changing their weight, invulnerability to weapons, and the ability to drive other creatures insane simply by being around them. In Norse Mythology if a bird flew over a tomb with a Draugr in it, the bird would drop dead in madness. Draugr were said to be so dangerous and difficult to dispose of that to fully 'kill' a Draugr you'd have to cut off it's head, burn it's body and spread the ashes in the middle of the ocean.
