I love this character's original design alot, she has quite a lovely appearance! Hence why I'm currently using this skin.
I know that the flat preview is bad, but Im hoping the animated preview is alot better.
After I finished this I noticed that someone had uploaded a totally different skin of Katja (Ekaterina) on a different skin site. I didn't see anybody's version of Katja on PMC though, so, I decided I'd make my own skin of her to upload here. So here it is.
Enjoy, and thanks for viewing!
Any comments helping me improve are welcome, as well as anything that comes into your mind about the skin. :P

I typically use the program SkinEdit, but I find it easiest (for when Im feeling lazy) to use Skincraft. Skincraft has a horrible reputation among any decent skinner because people use it for the default parts it provides, (which is against PMC rules) but I see no problem with it IF YOU NEVER USE ANY DEFAULT PARTS. I cannot clarify this enough: start with the blank skin and never use a default. They give you an option for a blank, pure white skin to draw on, so yes, I use it from time to time. In fact, I would say if you use Skincraft as an honest person, it's good for beginners. It lays out everything very clearly and neatly.
But, If you're wondering how I do my shading, I do it pixel by pixel and it gets easier after each time you do it. I have no special tricks/programs for how I do that.
Hope that answered your question. C:
