I think having a cut on his arm is a good effect, but It is a lonely colour. It makes sense, but it's the only red there. Also, You don't notice it unless he's moving. When he stands still, you see a plain skin, but then he moves, and people wonder what that red blur was. It might be better if it was more visible, or not there at all, but I would say that you shouldn't act on it until you hear from someone with a stronger artist's eye than mine. This skin will look good with or without that mark, it's just up to you if you want to look different.

(Oh, there's a couple lonely skin pixels under his head. You might want to change it. That's just something I noticed. Really minor, just saying is all.)
