The war has ended, but it has left its mark, turning the world into a desolate freezing land. Many died during the war; most were eradicated by the nuke, but some survived... while others... were frozen... waiting to awaken.

Somehow, humanity survives long enough to see the atmosphere begin to stabilize. The temperature had increased significantly and the people began to rebuild what they had destroyed. This change however allows these frozeners-of-war to awaken from their slumber. Then they noticed something different about themselves.

Ice was permanently embedded into their body and they could wield the powers of frost to produce weapons or regenerate. Naming themselves Frost Walkers, they began to fasion armor from scraps of destroyed buildings and objects, and banded together to exact revenge on the humans for turning them into what they are now.
