Q: What is this thing?

A: This skin is a self portrait of myself through the use of only three colors resembling the old fashioned gameboy screen. He's wearing a simple hoodie along with jeans and converse as well as a gaming headset.

Q: Why three colors, and why only these?

A: Green is one of my most favorite colors, I feel calm when I see the color green and as for the use of only three colors, I feel like the over all mood of my character and myself is very simple and relaxed, the green is pleasing to look at and the style is very simple and easy to look at.

Q: How does this relate to the contest?

A: I like to see myself as a gamer and I try to reflect this by uploading primarily video game related skins and putting a list of games I am currently obsessed with as well as putting in big bold words; "I like videogames" in my description of myself. And so with this entry, I try to portray myself as a gameboy character wearing a gamer headset and what I normally wear.

Q: What about him? What's his story?

A: His name is Ethan Carol, a boy in high school that loves to play videogames. His fondest memories are of him as a child laying on the couch playing pokemon red on his gameboy. Ethan never felt like he belonged here, he always seems to be anti-social, an outsider but deep inside him lies great courage and bravery, but were never revealed because of his shyness. One night, when playing one of his favorite games he had found a magnificent mountain range made of entirely stone and everything was covered in soft white snow. There were floating chunks of earth in the sky and most of them had lone trees on them. The sun was just rising up and shedding light on the mountains.

"Why can't I be here, where everything is peaceful." "There are no homework assignments, no essays no projects, no bullies, no stress, no gossip." Ethan said to himself. "Oh what I wouldn't give to live in this world." And in that instant, his headset fell onto his keyboard, Ethan blacked out, when he finally came to he found himself in a blocky world, where everything was made of squares, literally everything. He held has hand up to his forehead to block the sunlight so he could see farther and found that his arm was the color of the gameboy screen, and his arm too was literally all squares. Realizing what has happened, he smiles and runs off to punch the nearest tree to get wood. Ethan is happy. For now.
