Role-Playing Game Origin:

Geno made his first and only major appearance in Super Mario RPG: Legend of The Seven Stars and his most recent appearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as an equable spirit, Geno is from Star Road, a place where dreams come true by turning wishes into wishing stars that collide with the earth, but due to Smithy the main antagonist of SMRPG letting a sword called Exor fall out of the sky crashing through Star Road, kicking off Geno's journey.

Backstory:

♡♪!? or Geno as he names himself after the toy doll he possesses that belonged to a kid named Gaz to have a tangible appearance is a Star Spirit that "serves a higher authority" hinting that he is a Star Warrior with a clear mission to retrieve the Seven Star Pieces and restore Star Road.

Abilities:

Geno Beam: Geno charges his arm cannon to release a deadly beam of light, you can charge the move up to 3 turns for maximum damage just like the 3-star charge meter in the original game.



Geno Boost: Geno uses his star magic to boost party member's attacks stats when rolling a d10 if you roll a 5 or above you can raise party members attack AND defense just like the timed button press.

Geno Whirl: Geno uses a disc of light to attack an enemy when rolling a d10 if you roll a 9 you do quadruple the damage just like the timed button press that can do 9999 damage to any enemy except bosses with the exception of Exor and Yaridovich clones.



Geno Blast: Geno summons heavenly light to strike down every enemy on the battlefield, just like Geno Beam you charge this move up to 3 turns for maximum damage.

Geno Flash: Finally we have Geno Flash where Geno turns in to a stationary cannon and shoots out a red star that explodes on contact, Geno can also charge up this move for up to 3 turns just like its in-game counterpart but Geno must wait for 1 turn to transform back to normal form.

Equipment

Geno can equip up to 3 types of items: accessories, capes, and hand weapons but the best equipable items for him are the Ghost Medal which makes him take less damage after attacking, Star Cape which gives him the best defense stat possible, and finally the star cannon which shoots star bullets at the target.
