"His cap protects his face from the sun, but not from a bullet" - Sniper Elite 3 Afrika, German Truck Driver

An unknown soldier from an unknwon division which fought in Afrika with italian divisions against the Allies. All we know about him is that he was tall, with black hair and dark blue eyes and that he was a "Grenadier", a soldier who fought behind tanks. Did he survived the Battle of El-Alamein? We don't know for sure. Some people say yes, others say no. We like to think he did. As you can see, he's wearing a cap (not very helpful against bullets and shrapnels), a dirty scarf to keep the sand away from his mouth and nose and his hands are covered with rags. His clothes are quite light to try to keep him cool but as we know, it doesn't work. He has a Stielhandgranate 39 and a water canteen. He doesn't have any ammo, so we can't understand if he is a rifleman or a machine gunner, but since granades were usually given to machine gunners, we do believe that he's one of them but... who knows?
