But anyways this is for MeekEH's collab contest. The theme this time around was gradients. Big creds to Noo2 for her beautiful design and she did a bit of the shading too.

We went with the idea that this statue is coming to life. Half of it is still stone but the other half is very much alive. It's kind of like that part in LoZ: Wind Waker when everything is black and white and time is frozen and then you grab the master sword and everything comes to life and color again. She's also holding a bouquet because, yknow, she's the mother of life. pretty much mother nature. pretty much the ultimate mom.
