Millions of years ago, the planet Nuron held life to creatures known as nuren. They were green, earthly beings who could withstand the heat of the sun and temperatures below freezing. There were very few freezing areas on Nuron, however. But, of course, there was food and water, the main things needed for life (also including oxygen, carbon dioxide, etc.) The nurens lived happily for trillions of years until their sun took its last breath; it exploded and left the planet Nuron to freeze. It only took around one hundred days for the entire planet to be completely covered in ice. All nurens became frozen, but luckily, these temperatures weren't low enough to kill them. Trillions of years went by, and the ice somehow still kept their bodies preserved. It seemed like a miracle, but it wasn't: the nurens broke free from the ice. They had trouble surviving at first, but then natural selection took place, and they adapted to their environment. Their skin turned light blue, and their tails turned white and had the texture of snow. We no longer call them nurens, we call them glaces.
