Harold Finch, from the show Person of Interest, is a reclusive billionaire who practically built modern day surveillance. However, rather than soak up the glory of creating such a machine, Finch (/Wren/Crane/Cardinal etc) became an invisible man, hiding from authorities and the government after being claimed a dead man. Now using data given to him by the Machine, Finch and his friend John Reese help those in physical danger.
