EVA [as used in this skin] refers to Extra-Vehicular Activity [Space-Suit, etc.].

As the United Earth Government [UEG] continues to reach out to the stars in search of resources, planets, and/or life, it was decided that new EVA Suits were needed. The standard EVA Suits are often made with a large glass visor and are lightly armored, leaving the user vulnerable to the unknown, whether it be an accident, attack, or natural disaster. The UEG Engineering Corps were tasked to construct a new model of the EVA Suit, one that could withstand more force while still having all the maneuverability neededfor Deep Space work. The result of their work was the Heavy EVA suit, or HEVA, as it is commonly referred to as. The HEVA is constructed with a reinforced visor and more armor/padding to protect the user from outside forces. The HEVA is used in Deep Space Operations, such as mining, repair in extreme conditions, and other tasks that require extreme caution. While the Standard EVA Suits, or SEVA, are still used, HEVA Suits are being shipped out to Deep Space Mines, Colonies, and Orbital Stations.
