I carefully tried to feed it some of our salad grown in the gardening room of the ship, and it at consumed it. However, I then fed it with a piece of dried meat, which it also consumed. The organism seems to be an omnivore.
There is another thing. The organism seems to only gain more size the more we feed it. Soon it won't be able to fit the box. I must therefore try to not feed it for at least 3 days, to observe what effect it might give ...
