OH THE HUE MANATEE!
Hi everyone! My entry for the Life on the High Seas Contest and also serving as my 900 subscriber special! Thanks for a wonderful 3 years aboard the valiant ship PMC!
Completely factual facts:
The manatee or the sea cow is a great bulk of a creature known to the high seas. Lonely sailors would often mistake these divine beasts as mermaids, and would serenade them with their sea shanties in order to woo them to their ship.
Using extravagant rigging and pirate networking, leaders of the high seas would set up parrot to parrot (or P2P) networks to allow other pirates to oggle their fine animals. Lord Admirals however were not popular of the idea and when presented with an image, they were known to say "oh the humanity"!
