Hey, thanks! I love this character in the comics and was overjoyed that they stuck him in a movie--even if it was just an easter egg.

Yeah! He's in the Stark Expo at the beginning of the film. The screenshot above is the only time he ever appears, but it's clear who they're referencing.

Not yet! This isn't the Human Torch most people know. In the comics, a scientist attempts to invent a synthetic, robotic man, but it turns out that when his skin is exposed to air, he explodes into flame. In the 1940s, he fought alongside Captain America, Namor, and other golden age heroes in World War 2. In the MCU, he's included as an Easter egg in the Star Expo inside of a tank meant to prevent, presumably, his catching fire.
